My name is Michelle Cook. I am married to my childhood sweetheart, Andrew, and we have three dogs, Bella, Roxy, and Winston. My husband, Andrew, and I are originally from Southern Illinois, but moved to Clarksville in 2013. I graduated from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale with my Bachelors in Science in Elementary Education with concentrations in RLA and Social Sciences. I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading Intervention/Speciality from Concordia University Portland. In the Summer of 2021, I will be beginning my Doctoral degree in Education Administration. I have taught 4th and 5th grade for CMCSS in the past at Norman Smith and Oakland Elementaries, and I am very excited for the new journey as Academic Coach at CHES. I look forward to working with everyone, adults and children, at Cumberland Heights. Go Falcons! #oneteamonedreamonegoal
